Quoded Technology Solutions was founded in 2023 in Fredericton, NB, Canada, incorporating the learnings from the J. Herbert Smith Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton. The founder Jameel Mohammed comes with a rich background in Telecom operations and is an advocate of effective use of Technology solutions built keeping all users in mind. In his Telecom career, Jameel noticed glaring gaps in addressing the needs of Frontline workers by existing organizational productivity applications. The post-pandemic surge in usage of these applications driven by decisions made by upper-management exacerbated the dissatisfaction, burn-out and feeling of being left-out among the Frontline workforce.

Today around 86% of organizations across the world employ frontline workers and more than half of them use unapproved instant messaging applications for work.  Our own market research revealed that IM applications are the second most widely use communication tool (behind email) even for in-office workforce.     

Realizing this widespread affinity towards instant messaging on and off work, Quoded was born to deliver enterprise grade communication integrated with productivity and workflow automation needs packaged in a mobile-first instant messaging application.
